Marla graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 1985. She received her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Wayne State University in 1990. Marla has practiced within the pediatric arena in private practice and school settings. She has found working with children and their families to be the most rewarding and satisfying experience. Marla has experience with the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), applied verbal behavior (AVB), and LINKS to Language.

Marla has worked with children for over 14 years. In her spare time she enjoys time with family and friends, swimming, biking, skiing, skating, reading and creative activities like floral arranging.
