The KCC provides individualized, quality therapy, is well-known for children with apraxia of speech, and offers extensive specialization in the areas of sensory processing, auditory/linguistic processing, and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Services are available for infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, elementary, middle, and high school-aged children.
Realizing that “one therapy approach doesn’t fit all,” the KCC staff are trained in state of the art speech and occupational therapy services, and create an individualized approach for each child. Located in West Bloomfield, Michigan, a northwest suburb of Detroit, the KCC is an award winning facility, recognized by the Michigan Speech Language Hearing Association with their prestigious Clinical Service Award and Michigan State University, honoring Nancy Kaufman with their Outstanding Alumini Award for 2010. Our center offers a warm, playful, family-friendly environment, complete with private observation rooms that permit parents to watch each session, as they follow along with their child’s progress. |
